Save For Later Flow

In the making of a PRF waiver, both client and piercer add data. Between client and piercer inputs, the waiver can be paused by tapping SAVE FOR LATER. This feature sets the unfinished waiver aside to be completed later, and resets the app for the next client.

Piercing Release Forms App: Save for Later Flow

In a busy piercing studio, counter flow is everything. When walk-ins line up or appointments overlap, piercers don't always have time to sit at the counter logging exact jewelry brands, metal materials, gauges, and needle/blade sterilization lot numbers the moment a client finishes intake.

The Save for Later Flow in PRF allows piercers to pause an active waiver after client intake, park it safely as a draft, reset the iPad for the next client in line, and finish logging procedure details and signatures when the shift calms down.

Note: Save For Later is a PRO and BASIC subscription feature.



Why Use Save for Later?

  • Keep the Counter Moving: Eliminates lobby bottlenecks during peak hours by letting the next client start check-in immediately.

  • Accurate Inventory & Lot Tracking: Gives piercers time to double-check jewelry specs, autoclave logs, and needle/blade batch codes without rushing.

  • 100% Data Protection: Client signatures, ID photos, and medical disclosures remain locked in the draft queue until finalized and uploaded.


Step-by-Step: Parking a Waiver

  1. New Client Flow: The client completes their portion of intake (Bio, Health Questions, ID Photo, and Legal Clauses) and hands the iPad back to shop staff.

  2. Tap PIERCER: TAP TO BEGIN and enter your Piercer Passcode or Master Passcode (default is 1234).

  3. Review Health Alerts: Acknowledge any medical disclosures or health considerations the client flagged.

  4. Pause the waiver: In the Piercer Notes Pane, tap the OPTIONS button in the bottom-left corner and select SAVE FOR LATER.

  5. Instant Reset: The active waiver is saved to your studio's draft queue, and PRF instantly returns to the Welcome Screen—ready for your next client to check in!



Resuming & Completing Parked Waivers

When you are ready between clients or at the end of your shift to finalize Saved for Later waivers:

  1. From the Welcome Screen, tap RETURNING CLIENT.

  2. Enter your Piercer Passcode or Master Passcode.

  3. Select the client's paused waiver from the queue.

  4. Log Procedure Details: Open the Piercer Notes Pane to enter or scan:

  • Jewelry Specs: Select Jewelry Brands, Metal Types (e.g., Implant-Grade Titanium, 14k Gold), Gauges, and Threading/Styles.

  • Supply Lot Tracking: Use the camera to scan barcode/QR codes or OCR text on needle/blade packages and sterilization pouches.

  • Session Financials: Record base service price, jewelry cost, tax, deposits, and payment method.

  1. Sign & Upload: Tap PIERCER SIGNATURE, sign the screen, and tap FINISH & UPLOAD.

PRF immediately compiles the complete PDF waiver with all client inputs and piercer logs, syncing it directly to your studio's connected cloud storage under: Beluga Digital App [year] Piercing Release Forms / Waivers


Subscription & Passcode Requirements

  • Subscription: Save for Later is available for Basic and PRO Subscription tiers.

  • Passcode Protected: Parked waivers are strictly protected behind your Piercer Passcode or Master Passcode, ensuring clients cannot view, edit, or tamper with other clients' parked drafts while using the iPad.


Piercer Best Practice Tip

Clear Your Queue Before Closing: Always make sure all parked waivers are completed and uploaded before ending your shift. Waivers resting in the Save for Later queue are safely stored on the iPad, but they do not upload to your cloud or generate final legal PDFs until the piercer signs off and taps FINISH & UPLOAD.
